The Living Spirit Council

The Living Spirit Centre respects the independent governance for each of the three congregations, realizing that decisions are made slightly different within each denomination. Each congregation realizes the important of maintaining a open and honest atmosphere of cooperation, not only regarding matters surrounding the physical church property but to compliment each other in the overall ministry of Centre.

Through the Living Spirit Covenant each congregation has agreed to share in the decision-making process relating to matters that involve all three directly, such as the maintainance of the current building. The Living Spirit Council was formed to oversee this aspect of life at the Centre.

Each meeting of the Council opens and closes in prayer, recognizing the vital role that God's wisdom plays in keeping our congregations working together in harmony. Sometimes there are contentious issues and difficult decisions have to be made but the members of the Council strive for consenscious and over the last twelve years that standard has been maintained.
